Each dorm has 4 or 6 of our signature pods, giving you your own private space with a curtain, reading light, power outlet, and storage. It’s the ideal setup for female backpackers, students, and solo travellers who value both independence and safety during their stay.

On the ground floor, you’ll find our communal lounge with sofas and a large table, perfect for working, planning your Edinburgh itinerary, or connecting with other travellers. Our self-catering kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need – oven, hob, microwave, toaster, tea, coffee, and all the essentials – making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy a relaxed evening in.

Guests at The Loft are also invited to join the free daily events at our sister hotel, The Court.
